Find your passion and never work a day in your life!
What an experience! I recently returned from another trip of a lifetime, we just spent two and half memorable weeks in China on The Connoisseur’s Cruise with Chef Alan Wong: Pearls of China Tour. The thrill of Cruising China on the Crystal Symphony, walking on the Great Wall of China and then standing above the army of Terracotta Warriors all in one trip has left me in awe. But the most amazing thing is, I was able to do all of this through my work. When people ask how long I have been with the company, they always reply, you must love your job! Chef Alan has taught us that if you find your passion, you will never work another day in your life. I have truly found my passion here at the restaurant and I love what I do. My hope is that everyone reading this will find their passion, so they, too, will never have to work another day in their life again.
Words cannot express my gratitude to Randy King of Sea Wind Tours, who made every second of the trip a memorable experience, his attention to detail is amazing, and to Chef Alan for allowing me to be one of the team members that was fortunate to have traveled with him and experience all that we did. This was the second once in a life time trip with the Alan Wong’s Team (the first was to cook for President Obama and the US Congress on the lawn of the White House), and I will never forget it.
