Tomorrow morning we will provide lunch to the Moiliili senior citizens. It’s a treat for them to dress up and come to the restaurant. Sometimes our staff will bring their children along and everyone sits and eats together. I think it's great for the elderly to be with the younger ones.

Most of our cooks have chosen an ethnic dish that they grew up eating. They all have possibilities; we will see if the seniors like them tomorrow.

We are making loco mocos, so since I have to come up with some loco moco ideas, we made three today -- a chicken kim chee, pork w/ hoisin bbq sauce, and a tombo (albacore) w/ saikyo miso and green onions.
