Wade Ueoka, Chef de Cuisine

Starting out as a prep cook at Alan Wong’s Restaurant in 1996, Wade worked, learned and ran all the stations that eventually earned him the title of Chef de Cuisine in 2003. He assists with the managing of a kitchen staff of 20, orders products and oversees production. In addition to the creation of daily specials, he is featured once a month showcasing a set menu of his own creations.

Wade has accompanied Chef Wong on many guest appearances from the neighbor islands to Orlando, Florida to Singapore. Most recently, he completed a three month tenure at a new Alan Wong’s Restaurant in Japan where he assisted in the training of the staff, developed menu items and oversaw kitchen management.

Over the years, Wade has proven to be a valuable team member of the Alan Wong’s family — he strives and dedicates himself to provide our guests quality service and product.
