Wade is a graduate of the Mid Pacific Institute and Kapiolani Community College’s culinary arts program. He began his culinary career as a fry cook at Zippy’s Restaurants and was hired as a prep cook at Alan Wong’s Restaurant in 1996. In 2003, he earned the title of Chef de Cuisine and now manages the kitchen staff and oversees all food production from ordering products to creating daily specials for the menu.
Wade has had the opportunity to accompanying Chef Alan on numerous trips to the neighbor islands, the mainland, Singapore and Germany, and has also traveled on many occasions to Japan to assist with the staff training and menu development at Alan Wong’s Tokyo. pau
