I found out that Deanna (one of our new employees) likes to take pictures so I asked her to bring her camera today.
It was a good day. We learned more about everyone; had good dialogue; talked about Hawaii Regional Cuisine, its history, its concept, and of our immigrant plantation past. We got to talking a lot about our core values and eventually worked towards the making of everyones mission statements. I think the team is opening up a little more. We have a ways to go until we come together as a team. We will have that opportunity once we move from classroom to the live training next week.
So far so good.
