I started working in the industry at a young age, as a host/busboy/waiter at Musashi Restaurant. Then as a manager at the Orchids, Lewers Lounge, House Without A Key at the Halekulani Hotel, and Cabanas Seaside Grill, at the Kahala Hotel.
In one sentence, what is “outstanding service” to you?
Unobtrusive, anticipatory, friendly and knowledgeable
If you could be any superhero, who would it be?
Well, my favorite superhero is Wolverine from X-Men. He doesn’t hold anything back, he gives his 100% or more all the time and even though he has been through hell and back, he still comes out on top.
“There is no sun without shadow, and it is essential to know the night.” – We all must know that there are two sides to every coin. Without dark, there can be no light. Without bad, there can be no good. How else would we be able to appreciate what we have or could be?
