After two and a half days with all the new employees in a ballroom at the Grand Wailea, everyone worked towards finalizing their own mission statements and we wound up with a discussion on what our culture is and what we want it to be at Amasia. The kitchen staff got to see the kitchen and restaurant for the first time yesterday; they are all excited. It is an exciting time. After all, we are on the honeymoon phase and we are all still getting to know each other. So far, so good.
