We had a little tasting of mangalitza and iberico bellota ham. They were pretty close in comparison; great stuff. Two of the best tasting prosciutto-like hams around. Enjoying a pre-dinner snack on the sidewalk in the open NYC air is quite refreshing; 59 degrees F; got a thick sweater on. I used to do this on Sundays, the only day off I had; people-watching while eating on the sidewalk.
I liked this pupu very much. Reminded me of a dish I had to make at Lutece, Brioche de Brochet.
