We get quite a few requests for vegetarian, vegan, dishes, and a lot of people have dietary allergies today. It's quite a bit more complicated than before. Gone are the days when vegetarians were satisfied with a plate of steamed veggies or a stir fried veggie entrée. A lot more time and effort is being put into meeting the guests expectations in this regard. We are working on new vegetarian and vegan dishes to meet our guests growing expectations, and this dish is one result. It is a Waialua Asparagus Tempura with Hamakua Mushrooms and Umami Dressing.
